LeVonna Lee Obituary

LeVonna Faye Lee, 77, of Kilgore Tx died on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at home peacefully with her family. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.

LeVonna Lee was born in Southwest City, Missouri, to Charles Harrison and LeViathan Harrison on April 29, 1948. She was married to Herman Edward Lee Sr. for 37 years on December 7, 1989. She was a resident of Kilgore, Texas, for 36 of those years.
LeVonna was a social butterfly and never met a stranger. She worked many jobs using her impeccable social skills as a cashier for Dillard's, Walmart, EZ Mart, Atwood's, Hamburger Factory, and Hostess at the SHED Steak House.

LeVonna Lee was a HUGE Dallas Cowboys fan. In her younger years, you knew better to interrupt her during a game! She loved and followed The Longview Lobo band because her daughter played for them in her High School years, playing the trumpet as she did, herself, at Borger High School, where she graduated from in 1966. She was also a cheerleader in her high school years, where her love for football began. She enjoyed coloring in color books and visiting Historic Homes and Cemeteries from the Civil War Era. She collected Zebras and was known by many as the Zebra Lady.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Lee Sr., father Charles Harrison, Mother LeViathan Harrison Walser, Sister Gloria Charlene Parker, and nephew Taylor Tevebaugh.

She is survived by her daughter, LaRhonda Renee Lee, and spouse William Prewitt of Longview, and son Kendall Boydston of Kilgore. Sister Taffey and Jerome Susik of Lonview. Grandson Christopher Edward and wife Randie Lee of Hallsville, Grandson Bradley Mikel Lee of Longview, grandson Steven Shelby and Wife Megan Lee. Great-grandsons Hayden and Cameron Lee of Hallsville and granddaughter Annabelle Lee.
