Geoffrey Bixby

Geoffrey “Geoff” Bixby was born in Coral Gables, Florida, to Eugene and Virginia Watson Bixby. He passed away on February 13, 2026.

In 1980, Geoff moved his family to Longview, Texas, where he worked at the steel mill for Marathon LeTourneau Company. He later completed his working career at Network Communications. Geoff was a dedicated provider who took pride in his work and in caring for his family.

Geoff loved his family deeply and was incredibly proud of them. He treasured time spent with his children and grandchildren and leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion. He was also a lifelong Miami Dolphins fan and rarely missed a chance to cheer on his team.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Watson Bixby; his father, Eugene Bixby; and his brother, Joseph Bixby.

He is survived by his sons, Sean and wife Alisha Bixby, and Shane and wife Amy Bixby; his daughter, Sheryl and husband William “Trey” Driggers; his sister, Diane and husband Paul Pessagno; his brother, Gary Bixby; his children-in-love, Rosario Moreno and Braulio Moreno; and his many beloved grandchildren.

Geoff will be remembered for his love of family, his strong work ethic, and the joy he brought to those who knew him.
